Whether you stay with us or at other Valley
accommodation, book an extra day - you'll need it to experience
all that the Comox Valley has to offer. There is something for everyone
to enjoy! So many people come here for one night and wish they had
allowed for two or three nights or a week
Our bed and breakfast is centrally located
in the Comox Valley only 10 kilometres (6 miles) from Courtenay
and is close to all activities. Forbidden Plateau is only 13 minutes
away and Mount Washington only 20 minutes. Beaches, golf, fishing,

Visit the award winning Courtenay Museum
and see the replica of the 12 metre elasmosaur and many other
fossils from the Valley.The Air Force Museum is also
well worth a stop.
Ski or hike
Mount Washington or
just drive up to see the fantastic view. The mountain is part
of world famous
Strathcona
Park,with miles of hiking by pristine lakes and flowering alpine meadows.
Mt. Washington usually opens for skiing the first weekend of December
and is famous for lots of snow. Check the link above for up to
date snow information.Visit Denman and Hornby Islands for a
day to see the great beaches, parks and local crafts.
Take a day trip to the Valley's fossil
rich river beds and see where the 12 metre elasmosaur was
discovered. The Courtenay Museum runs guided fossil tours in the
summer.Drive to Campbell River and visit the
north end of beautiful Strathcona Park and Elk Falls.
Tour
our local art galleries and craft shops.Rent a kayak, pack a lunch and spend
the day on the sandy beaches of Tree Island. Rent a boat
and go salmon fishing at Comox or Campbell River.
Spend a day on the sand at fabulous Saratoga
and Miracle Beaches.Catch the races at Saratoga
Speedway.
Stroll the boardwalk at the Comox Marina
and view the yachts and the fishing fleet. They often have fresh
seafood for sale.Visit the old mining town of
Cumberland, see the mining museum and Comox Lake.
Visit our fish hatcheries and see salmon being raised.Do some
bird watching on the shoreline, the forests and the mountains.
Visit near by Coombs, Cathedral Grove and Cameron Lake.
Wine and dine at our fine selection of
restaurants and pubs.
